Welcome to Nook! We are a calming, cosy cafe, in the heart of gorgeous Topsham, Devon. We have a particular focus on inclusivity for children (as well as everyone else).
I'm Pip and this little lady is Lola Rose (who you will often find here at Nook). I grew up in rural Devon, went off for grown up life and came back a couple of years ago with my little family to #topsham. I've been a primary school teacher for several years and my passion is creating supportive, nurturing environments for children and more lately, connecting with other parents and community.
As a mum, I often longed for a space where I could have really good coffee and food, where my baby/toddler was welcome, safe and happy.
And so became Nook!
Nook is a cosy cafe for children, their parents & everyone else in the community. Come as you are, for a warm welcome, coffee and food, as well as to play, learn & connect with others.
