Another lovely busy week at Nook. I love seeing how children use the space in the most unusual ways 😅 Today we've had a little one sleeping on the giant bear teddy, another climbing between the table legs and this morning a little boy put the octopus to sleep in the cot! Wonderful little beings. We are open tomorrow, Good Friday, from 10-3, we have some really lovely Easter cakes and brownies. And always great coffee. And everyone who comes in tomorrow will get a yummy choccie with their order. We also have a few homemade Easter eggs and carrots left, packed with little pressies and chocolates. After a lovely long family weekend, I'm looking forward to this week at Nook - Easter week! NOOK HAS BEEN OPEN FOR ONE MONTH TODAY!!! It's gone so quickly and has been such a busy, bonkers, magical, exciting time and a gynormous learning curve. I'm making myself take a little time this evening to reflect on everything I've achieved (with an awful lot of help and support) and what my little Nook has started to become. I'm really proud and happy with how it's gone so far. It brings me so much joy to see so many little people enjoying the space and playing away and exploring and eating lovely food that is designed for them. I hoped for it to be like this but it's amazing to see it blossom. What I didn't expect but am especially happy about is- * I've met such wonderful parents and would consider so many now friends. * My family and I feel such a part of the lovely #topsham community. * So many people of all ages visit Nook, so many grandparents and so many people without children pop in for a takeaway or to sit in * Children use the space in such imaginative brilliant ways and watching everyday has made me so happy and grateful * I have proper regulars! Yay. (Here's looking at you Sol 👀) * I'm actually quite good at making coffee 😅 There's so much more to say but I'm really tired and ready to snooze.
